cortisol levels, which inhibits your efforts to lose belly fat. So, stay
well hydrated!
24. BEWARE OF ALCOHOL
If you’re serious about losing belly fat, you’ll need to watch your alcohol intake. Research published in the Journal of Nutrition shows
that people who drink alcohol, but don’t binge drink, have less belly
fat than people who drink occasionally, but heavily (i.e. binge
drinkers). Large volumes of alcohol are thought to elevate cortisol,
which increases belly fat. In other words, don’t save up for a big night
out. Studies also suggest that light to moderate wine drinking (i.e.
one glass of wine) can help protect against belly fat.
